Saturday June 19 – Spend the day at Big Sand Bay on Christian Island, but as the wind shifted northward we moved to Sand Bay on the south end of Hope Island. We wasted all kinds of roaming charges trying to make cell calls and texting. The cell coverage was very poor. We finally made arrangements with Garry VanGeldren to meet tomorrow in Penetang harbor over near Magazine Island, but he wants us over there between 10am and 11am… So the alarm is set for 7am and we will pull out of here by 7:30am… I hope!
Sunday June 20 - Happy Father's Day! We got up at 6:30am but barely made off the hook by 7:35am. We made it to Penetang Harbor and anchored Magazine Island off by 10:15am. We gave Garry a call on the cell and he came by to pick us up at the Discovery Harbor where we dingied into the dock. We are off to Lost Bay on Beausoleil Island with the VanGeldrens... More later...
